Late Friday night December 12, 2014 ABSAR was notified by the GEOS SOS center of a person in need of urgent assistance.  ABSAR Rescue 2 launched from Falmouth Harbour, Antigua with Matt Lewis, Josh Waite, Ilona & Lee Sagert, and Jonathan Cornelius aboard.  Rescue 2 located 4 survivors just before 1 am on Saturday morning.  All survivors were found in good health.  They activated a InReach Satellite Messenger when their vessel took on too much water and capsized.  Their preparedness with the InReach , a liferaft, and VHF hand held radio were key to their speedy rescue.
